My name is Gara Flanagan and I've loved baking for pleasure my entire life. I bake to share smiles, to ease stress, and to make my own kids and their friends happy. Over the years I've learned that I make really great chocolate chip cookies; they've been the item that I've become known for in my neighborhood. Currently, I am an elementary school teacher in my local area and have been for the past 26 years. I'm also a single mom to two teenage boys, one is in high school and one is starting college. I figured starting my own at home bakery for people to order from, to share smiles with others, would be a great way to do what I love and possibly fund a few college books for my sons along the way. Hopefully Happy Cookie chocolate chip cookies can help you to share a smile with someone you love.
FUN FACT: It would be a dream to bake cookies for Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters. If you need to send cookies their way, I'm your girl! Their music has brought me so much happiness for decades and carried me through some tough times. I'd love to spoil them with cookies like Dave spoils others in need. XOXO

We had nose bleed seats, so we snuck down as low as we could to dance & sing through the entire 6 hour show, UNBELIEVABLE!
Some guy next to me kept taking video of the entire show. I had to laugh because he probably ended up with horrible recordings of my awful singing voice so loud. We left the show with no voice. :)
On my way to a Foos concert with a few best friends in September 2015. We sat 4th row a few sections back from the stage, incredible! I took my girls out for the night to say thank you for all the love and support they've given me through the decades.
